3rd April, 2011

Finally the day came to visit the world’s tallest statue of Lord Shiva located at Saanga. Today is Ghodejaatra and of course Sunday. We (Ananta, Bikash, Mohan, Pragya and me) 5 had planned to visit there. According to our plan, Ananta and Mohan came to kirtipur to pick us at 11:30 A.M. For the first time we were there on time. Asked Bikash to wait us at Saatdobaato. But we reached first so we’d waited a while for him. Then, we headed towards Saanga. At around 12:30 P.M., we reached there.

The statue of Lord Shiva is of 143 feet. The place was too good to roam around taking photographs and be there for a while. So, we roamed around there and took some photographs. The view from there was also awesome. We passed around half an hour there.

Then, we planned to go to Banepa to visit grandmom. At around 1:00 P.M., we reached Banepa. Had some fruits and colddrinks. Then we returned. On the way, Ananta planned to visit Changunarayan Mandir. I hadn’t been there before. So accepted his plan and went there. We’d to walk a while around 15 minutes to reach the Changunarayan Mandir. Taking photographs on the way we reached there. Luckily the door of the main mandir opened as if it was for us. For a while we were busy for roaming around and taking photographs.

Then, returned from there and went to Patan to roam around. Had Buff chilly, cheeseball, momo, coffee there.

After that, we returned home. Ananta and Mohan came to drop us at kirtipur.
